VMTurbo Names Geeta Sachdev Chief Marketing Officer

Veteran High Tech Marketer Joins Hyper-Growth Virtualization Management Company

Boston, MA – October 23, 2013 – VMTurbo, provider of the only software-defined control system for businesses running mission-critical applications on virtualized and cloud infrastructures, today announced Geeta Sachdev as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).  As CMO, Sachdev will lead VMTurbo’s global marketing, reporting directly to CEO Ben Nye, to accelerate the Company’s mission to provide top-down software-defined control for application workloads in virtualized data center and cloud environments.

Sachdev will apply her more than twenty years of global marketing and online leadership experience to help VMTurbo’s marketing organization continue to drive brand awareness and demand in the IT management market.  Before joining VMTurbo, Sachdev was CMO of SolarWinds (NYSE:SWI), a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management software.  She helped fuel SolarWinds’ renowned high-velocity sales model that drove its hyper-growth trajectory – experience that she will bring to bear at VMTurbo.

Before SolarWinds, Sachdev was a senior marketing executive at Dell, Inc., most recently serving as Executive Director of Consumer Marketing, where she was responsible for merchandising, online demand generation, and marketing communications. Sachdev also served as Executive Director of Online Operations for, where she led content operations and online analytics for segments worldwide.  Earlier, Sachdev held a variety of senior roles at Dell across marketing, e-commerce, and call center operations.

Prior to joining Dell, Sachdev worked in Booz, Allen & Hamilton’s Financial Services Group. She holds degrees from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
