Turbonomic Expands R&D Operation in Canada

Larger Markham Ontario Office to Accommodate Aggressive Regional Hiring Plans

To commemorate expansion into a larger office in the city of Markham in Greater Toronto Area, the Mayor of the City of Markham, Frank Scarpitti, today visited the Canada-based operation1 responsible for contributing to Turbonomic’s R&D efforts. Today’s news is the latest milestone as Turbonomic, the leader in application resource management, continues its growth trajectory.

Turbonomic strategically selected Markham, which is recognized as Canada’s High-Tech Capital anchored by over 1,500 technology companies that generate 37,000 jobs, because it is one of Ontario’s most diverse and fastest-growing municipalities. Markham’s business community includes companies and organizations spanning industries including banking, financing, engineering, design, technical, and commercialization services.

“High growth technology companies like Turbonomic play an integral role in our thriving innovation ecosystem, driving our economy forward and drawing on the diverse talent that exists here. Congratulations to the Turbonomic team as you celebrate your outstanding achievements in technology, innovation and recruitment,” said Scarpitti.

The Markham-based team’s R&D contributions are integral to Turbonomic platform innovation, which helps customers achieve their IT modernization goals. The expanded Markham office space can accommodate 60 employees – enough space to triple the location’s current headcount. The company plans to hire for positions in the region spanning research and development, customer support, technical account management and sales.

“Thank you to Mayor Scarpitti for your leadership and efforts in making Markham a leading technology and innovation hub, and for spending time with our talented team to commemorate this milestone in our growth,” said Charles Crouchman, President of R&D operations in Canada.

Managing today’s IT complexity is beyond the scale of manual control or monitoring tools – it requires software.  Founded on the economic principles of supply and demand, Turbonomic ensures applications receive all of the resources they require, continuously and in real-time to assure application performance while enforcing business policy compliance at the lowest cost. Turbonomic, named an Inc. Best Workplaces for two consecutive years, is trusted by thousands of enterprise organizations worldwide to continually maintain the overall health of their IT environment, including more than 20 percent of the Fortune 500.
